The titles listed below are a selection of music that we felt would be most appropriate for a memorial or celebration of life service. See our general repertoire page for a full listing of all our selections.
We offer the following guide as an example of a memorial service where music would be used:
- Prelude: 20-30 minutes of Music while guests are entering the church or venue.
- Candle Lighting:
- Music or Hymn: played or played while being sung by the congregation.
- Eulogy: Expressions of gratitude by loved ones
- Music or Hymn: 1 or 2 selections played or played while being sung by the congregation.
- Scripture reading:
- Sermon:
- Music or Hymn: 1 selection played.
- Prayer:
- Music or Hymn: played or played while being sung by the congregation.
- Candle ceremony:
- Postlude: 1 or 2 selections of Music played while guests are exiting or mingling.
